Access to information is critical in the healthcare field. HSLIC advances health and health equity as New Mexico’s only publicly accessible health sciences library.

HSLIC empowers evidence-based health care, intellectual discovery, lifelong learning, and engagement with our diverse communities by providing high quality and unique collections; integrated education and programs; and innovative, inclusive spaces. Your contribution supports students across the UNM Health Sciences Center and is an investment in creating a strong healthcare workforce in New Mexico and beyond!

Health Sciences Library & Informatics Center Featured Funds:

The HSLIC Executive Director’s Fund for Excellence allows leadership to address timely needs and innovative upgrades to enhance the student, faculty, and community experience. As we complete our renovation of the second floor of HSLIC, funds will allow us to program the new space in exciting new ways.

Support the newly established HSLIC Student Success Fund that will expand and scale up student programming, increase events and engagement as well as provide more opportunities for student training and wellness offerings, creating a pipeline of heath care providers with the skills needed to succeed in their studies and careers.

The HSLIC New Mexico Health Historical Collection funds collections related to health and health care in the state, documenting the State’s history for future generations. Collections funding is an investment in history and in the future.

The Patricia V. Bradley Native American Health Research Award honors Pat Bradley who spent more than 40 years in medical librarianship, including 15 at HSLIC, before passing away in 2019.
